Learning resources of the department

a) Laboratory: The laboratories of the department for the degree practical classes are adequate. The instruments are carefully handled and maintained with the help of the students and teachers. The DST and UGC grant for the science stream give the opportunity to meet the need of costly instruments.

b) Library: The department provides books for the major students through the departmental seminar library. Besides the central library , the departmental library gives a good support to the students for major courses. However, few miscellaneous books related to contemporary Assamese writers, encyclopedia, journals etc are kept for the students to develop their reading habit.

c) The department has got two computers. Departmental documentation has been done systematically in the computer. However, students are also allowed to use the Computer laboratory of the college according to their need.

d) The departmental students are motivated to join the extension activities of the college, such as: Counseling class, Clubs, NCC, NSS, Bharat Scout and Guide or self Empowerment Cell for Yoga learning.
