Academic and personal counseling of students

Outside the classroom: The departmental teachers are aware of the students who could not follow the classes. The students are encouraged to meet the teacher outside the class if necessary. Teacher and student relations of the department especially the major students are very close and cordial. Therefore counseling is done one to one student which proved very beneficial for the students. Moreover, degree students are guided for their future planning regarding their academic careers. There is a healthy practice to keep in touch with pass-out students of the department and their participation is called for various college functions.

Moreover, IQAC and Extension Education Cell run the Counseling and Mentoring classes for the students of the first semester students. A counseling class has been allocated in the main class routine every Friday. There are ten clubs and students can select any club of their choice.
